Bringing home a pup from Finn & Friends Standard poodles

WOW! So, you want to bring home one of our amazing puppies?! I'm so thrilled you chose us! 

Let me tell you a bit about the process:

* First, you need to fill out the "PUPPY APPLICATION" below and submit.

* Once I receive it, I will schedule a time to call you and chat about your needs, wants and fluffy desires! Assuming we both wish to proceed at that point, you will then be placed on the appropriate wait list. 

* When a pairing has occurred and a pregnancy is confirmed, you will be notified. Upon confirmation of the pregnancy (and notification to you), your INITIAL DEPOSIT is due for your new fur baby within 48 hours. You may pay the deposit securely via VENMO or PAYPAL using our email: finnandfriends@yahoo.com. If you choose, you can also use Zelle by listing our phone number: 207-314-8817.

* You will receive numerous updates and photos as we work our way through the 62-day pregnancy and, ultimately, the birth (whelping) process. The photos and videos will continue so you can watch your baby grow and change. 

* Between 6-7 weeks of age, the pups will have their vet exams (initial shots & microchip) and temperament testing (day 49). At this point, we will assign a puppy to you based on your preferences. 

* Upon being assigned a puppy, your final payment will be due within 48 hours via VENMO or PAYPAL using the same email as listed above. Or, you may use Zelle: 207-314-8817. 

* Immediately following final payment, I will need the "registered name" for your dog. This is the name that will begin with "Finn & Friends" and you will have 20 spaces to use for your dog's fancy name. I will also need the CALL NAME for your pup. This is the name you will use every day. Finn & Friends will officially register your dog for you and provide all the details in your GO HOME packet.

* So much happens during these weeks of new life as we prepare your sweet baby for the world! But quickly time passes and at ten weeks old, it's time for puppy pick up! There will be a 3-day window where we will schedule with you the best time for retrieving your new family member. If you require flight nanny or ground transport services from us, please call in advance to arrange. There is no fee for flight nanny service; you simply need to purchase a round-trip ticket from Portland, Maine to your closest airport for the nanny. We do not SHIP dogs under any circumstance.
